Probability is the backbone of quant interviews - from basic counting and independence to conditional reasoning. These questions build the intuition trading and research interviews assume.
These questions span counting and combinatorics, independence and conditional probability, the common distributions (binomial, geometric, Poisson, normal), and expected value - usually dressed up as dice, coins, cards, or betting games rather than stated as formulas.
