Minimum defense frequency against a bet

On the river the pot is $100 and your opponent bets $50 (a half-pot bet). To stop them from profitably bluffing any two cards, what fraction of the time must you call (as a decimal, to two places)?

Show hints (2)+
  1. Make a pure bluff exactly break even: 100f−50(1−f)=0100f - 50(1-f)=0.
  2. MDF =p/(p+b)=100/150= p/(p+b) = 100/150.
