Three switches, one bulb

Three off switches are outside a closed room; exactly one controls a bulb inside. You may flip switches as much as you like, but you can enter the room only once. How do you determine which switch controls the bulb?

Show hints (2)+
  1. A bulb carries more than on/off information.
  2. Think about temperature.
